Welcome to North London Home Tutors
North London Home Tutors was established following a rise in demand for Home Tutoring and One to One tuition at our tutoring centre in Golders Green, North London.
Our experienced tutors focus on teaching Maths, English and Science, from Primary to GCSE & A-Levels. We are also able to provide tutors for other subjects.
For Selective School admission's, our tutors prepare your child for the appropriate 7+, 11+. ISEB and 13+ tests. These tests may also include Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal reasoning and Numerical reasoning assessments besides Maths and English. The 13+ tests may also include Science and other subjects.
Many of our tutors have helped their tutees attain scholarships at Independent Schools and gain admission into Grammar Schools including Henrietta Barnett and QE Boys.
Foundation course - Our specialist foundation tutors focus on teaching Phonics, Basic Arithmetic and Mental Math. This includes a focus on attaining a good grasp of mental maths, multiplication tables, spellings and creative writing to a high level.
We aim to assess and monitor most of our tutors at our in-house tutoring centre prior to engaging them for home tutoring. Monitoring is continued through other means, including feedback from parents, review of progress reports etc. This ensures our tutors continue to maintain a high level of teaching, and that we continue to engage high calibre tutors.
All tutors complete sessional progress reports following every teaching session. These reports identify any specific weaknesses your child may have, further enhancement exercises, strengths and weaknesses to build on, and progress made.
The tutor will tailor sessions to your child's requirements, taking into consideration their level, learning style and personality.
Our administration staff are always at hand to receive your feedback and address any issues.
